Sonic Costumes for Halloween
Homemade Sonic Costume:
- A blue Sweatshirt and a pair of blue jogging pants. These can be found at your local clothing stores.
- Order a Sonic head piece (you can order this online at amazon or eBay, and even some of your local costume shops may carry the head piece.)
- A piece of tan felt (about 1 yard, and you can find this at fabric stores)
- White gloves ( Wal-Mart, target or other clothing stores)
- Red electrical tape
- A pair of white tennis shoes
First you will need to cut an oval piece out of the felt for the front of the chest area and the arms. Glue the oval piece of felt to the blue sweatshirt. Cut the strips of felt the same length as the arms and glue to the sleeves of the sweatshirt.
Sonic the Hedgehog Footwear
Take the red electrical tape and wrap around the white tennis shoes to where it only has one white stripe left on the shoes. You can look up a picture of Sonic on the internet to use as a reference guide as to where and how to place the felt.
Your head piece is already done so there’s no need to worry about that. As for the rest it’s easy and quick and you have a great Sonic costume that is homemade. However, if you don’t have time to make your own, you can go online and order the costume on the internet. Most importantly have fun and be creative.
